Dr. Cameron received his medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine and completed his internship at Los Angeles County Hospital at the University of Southern California Medical Center. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University Medical Center. Dr. Cameron also completed hand fellowships at both the Hospital for Special Surgery and at Edinburgh University in Scotland.
Dr. Cameron specializes in reconstructive hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgery. He has special interests in endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery, surgery for basal joint arthritis of the thumb, and surgical treatment for Dupuytren’s disease, including minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Cameron is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Association for Research in General Orthopedics, and the Florida Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Cameron is married with grown children. He and his wife enjoy golfing and spending time in their cabin in northern Michigan. Dr. Cameron also enjoys restoring 1970s-era automobiles.
