Dr. McLeod earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. She completed residency training in internal medicine and received advanced fellowship training in oncology and hematology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. She is board certified in internal medicine and is board certified in oncology.
Medical Interests
Dr. McLeod has special medical interests in breast cancer, pancreatic cancer and lung cancer. She has conducted advanced research in these and other areas. She has volunteered her time to provide health education to the uninsured residents of her community for the past six years.

In her free time, Dr. McLeod enjoys photography, jewelry making, and arts and crafts. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her son.
