Yazan Alsayed, MD
Medical Education
Dr. Alsayed earned his medical degree from Aleppo University School of Medicine in Syria. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed advanced fellowship-training in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Dr. Alsayed served as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Arkansas Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy in Little Rock, Ark. since 2006.
Medical Interests
Dr. Alsayed has special interest in treating hematologic malignancies, including non-Hodgkin lymphomas, Hodgkin’s disease, multiple myeloma, plasma cells diseases, MDS (Myelodysplastic syndrome), and leukemia.
Personal Profile
In his free time, Dr. Alsayed is passionate about photography. He also enjoys reading, soccer and spending time with his wife.
