I hardly know where to begin.

My child was a patient of the Children's Hospital and Nemour's for all of 19 years during which time we got to know the staff there in a very personal way.

The care and compassion that was shown to us was immeasureable. My child suffered a stroke at the age of six, and the protocol for his condition was monthly blood transfusions. He was admitted every month and as difficult as it was, because of the love and compassion that was shown him by the nurses to even the people in housekeeping, he never complained..not once! And to me as a parent, that's a testament to this hospital.

From the residents and just everyone that ever had a hand in taking care of Akiro, they spoiled him "rotten"!! (smile).

Often times when he'd get a little demanding about getting something that we may have been a little too slow in delivering, we would have to remind him that....."Hey buddy you're not at Sacred Heart!"

My son has since gone to heaven but, I just can't say "Thank You" enough. May God continue to"BLESS" this place as it continues to be a "Haven of Hope" and provides services that are desperately needed. Many many "THANKS"!!!!
