Advance Directives & Living Wills
Sacred Heart Hospital's palliative care specialists offer a free class on Advance Directives on the third Thursday of every month from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Advance medical directives are legal documents that allow you to give directions for your future medical care, especially in cases where you are terminally ill, unconscious or have irreversible brain damage. Rise and Stride Walking Club
Enjoy walking each morning inside the air-conditioned comfort of Cordova Mall during 8 to 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday.
Grandparents Open House
Held on Sunday afternoons every three months, this program invites grandparents-to-be to Sacred Heart Women's Hospital for a personal tour. The program also discusses current trends in birth and car seat safety. Call 416-7000. Course offered by Sacred Heart Women's Hospital.

Cancer patients, cancer survivors, their families & friends are invited to join Sacred Heart Hospital's new Cancer support Group.
Enjoy some "Tea for the Soul" & light refreshments. the support group will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 2 PM.
The group is designed to offer support through education, spirituality, and humor as well as the comfort of fellowship with other cancer patients.

Surviving After Stroke
An informational support group called Surviving After Stroke meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at Sacred Heart Hospital. This groupk, designed for stroke survivors and caretakers, meets from 2 to 3:30 p.m. For more information, call 416-7732.
Grief Support Group
Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola has established a grief support group called “GriefShare.” A new series of GriefShare meetings is under way in January, February and March each Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart in the St. Catherine’s classroom on the second floor of the main hospital.
The support group is sponsored by those who understand the experience of loss and want to offer comfort and encouragement to help others during a difficult time. A total of 13 GriefShare sessions will cover a variety of grief recovery topics. Sessions include videos of grief recovery experts who include well-known counselors, authors, speakers and pastors with years of expertise in this field.
The group is nondenominational; its philosophy of hope and support is based on Biblical teaching. While there are 13 sessions, each session is self-contained so that participants may join in at any time.
