A Message from Our President

What an amazing year we have had here at Sacred Heart Health System!  The gifts that you have provided have made a tremendous impact on our ministry. 

Your support will provide equipment to help with the calculation of medications for the tiniest of babies in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Your gifts helped develop and support a Pediatric Oncology Unit so that young kids dealing with cancer are able to seek treatment in a special unit designed to meet their specific needs.

Your support provided equipment to our Seton Center where a young lady was able to be diagnosed with cancer so that she is able to receive the care she needs. 

Your gifts are helping to build a hospital in Port St. Joe so that patients will have access to healthcare in their local community. 

Each and every gift is appreciated and dedicated to supporting the many different needs of our mission here at Sacred Heart.

As our system continues to grow and expand along the coast to meet the healthcare needs of our communities, I am reminded about the importance of our healing ministry.  We are changing lives and providing “hope” to patients and their families every day of the year, and I want you to know that as a donor, you are a vital part of this ministry. 

Your donations support our ability to provide an environment of “compassionate health care” so that the most vulnerable children and adults in our region are treated without regard to their ability to pay.

I’m reminded of the story of the old man walking along the shore littered with thousands of starfish, beached and dying after a storm.  A young man was picking them up and flinging them back into the ocean.  “Why do you bother?” the old man scoffed.  “You’re not saving enough to make a difference.”  The young man picked up another starfish and sent it spinning back to the water.  “Made a difference to that one,” he said.
