E. Jean Dabezies, Jr. MD
Dr. Dabezies’ strong passion for orthopedic surgery was instilled in him by his father who became the chairman of the Texas Tech Orthopedic Surgery resident training program in Lubbock, Texas. The mixture of hands on skills to perform the surgery and the knowledge of the best techniques make him a valuable surgeon in the Pensacola and Panhandle region.
Medical Education
Dr. Dabezies received his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, La. He completed his internship in orthopedics at Louisiana State University Charity Hospital in New Orleans and completed his residency in orthopedics at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Dabezies also completed a fellowship in joint replacement surgery and adult reconstruction at the University of California San Diego Medical Center.
Medical Interests
Dr. Dabezies is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in knee and hip joint replacement surgery to relieve arthritis pain.

Dr. Dabezies was born and raised in New Orleans, La. He enjoys fine dining and cooking and recently wrote a cookbook of family recipes. He and his wife enjoyed raising their children in the Panhandle area and coaching recreational sports.
