Medical Education
Dr. Hood completed medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Pennsylvania State University in association with Hershey Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining Sacred Heart, Dr. Hood managed her own private practice in Crestview.
Medical Interests
Dr. Hood has special medical interests in women’s health and prevention, obstetrical care, and teenage health.

In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her husband and two children.
