From broken bones and fractures, to major sprains and ligament tears, Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola provides a 24-hour Emergency Department to handle serious and life-threatening injuries in adults and children.
Our orthopedic trauma team specializes in specializes in the treatment of major orthopaedic injuries as well as isolated injuries to the upper and lower extremities, pelvis, spine, and major joints. Trauma patients arrive either through our Emergency Department or through a hospital-to-hospital transfer.
In addition to our regular 54-bed E.R.facility, Sacred Heart provides a separate 10-bed unit specifically for the care of children, staffed by physicians and nurses certified in emergency pediatric care.
