Sacred Heart Medical Park on Airport Boulevard in Pensacola provides outpatient diagnostic services and physicians’ offices in a single convenient location outside the hospital setting.
Sacred Heart Medical Park provides advanced medical technology, including lab services, MRI and the latest in high speed CT imaging, and an outpatient wound care center offering hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
The Medical Park on Airport Boulevard is a four-story building with 87,000 square feet of office space under construction on the northern edge of Sacred Heart’s Pensacola campus near Airport Boulevard and College Parkway. Convenient parking is provided with 450 parking spaces.
Our Services
The facility includes an outpatient diagnostic center that offers the following technology:
- Two state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) units - one closed scanner and one high-field open scanner to accommodate claustrophobic patients. Both of these units have enhanced capabilities to perform cardiac MRI scans.
- Digital x-ray technology that allows x-rays to be completed in half the time with less radiation exposure than conventional x-rays.
- Electrocardiography (EKG) and digital holter monitoring
- High speed CT imaging technology, offering new applications for diagnosing diseases of the heart, blood vessels, and lungs, and capable of acquiring 16 slices simultaneously. Each slice creates a detailed anatomical image at the precise location of the slice — revealing images of bones, soft tissue, the brain, organs, and blood vessels.
The second, third, and fourth floors of the facility will house physicians’ offices, including internal medicine specialists, four family practice physicians and two endocrinologists, all with Sacred Heart Medical Group.
The eight internal medicine and family medicine physicians with Sacred Heart Medical Group who have relocated their offices to the new Medical Park are: Dr. R. Lane Bellard, Dr. Ferdinand Bumagat, Dr. Matthew Daniels, Dr. Jung Gorton, Dr. John May, Dr. Amos Prevatt, Dr. Darrell Pugh, Dr. John Retzloff, Dr. Adam Tarnosky, and Dr. Wendy Wozniak.
Our Hours
Sacred Heart Medical Park is open Monday - Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding holidays.
In addition, our MRI department offers extended hours at night and on weekends to ensure that your exam is scheduled in a timely manner.
The MRI department is open Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m to 8 p.m., Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
