Short-Term Rehab Available Through Sacred Heart
Sacred Heart now offers short-term rehabilitation services for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. These services are conveniently located on Summit Boulevard in Pensacola at the Haven of Our Lady of Peace, offering plenty of convenient parking and a comfortable environment that caters to the needs of short-term therapy patients.
A special area on the Haven’s second floor offers rooms for patients who need short-term therapy. Most patients are those who have had joint replacement surgery, are recovering from a stroke, need therapy for a fracture, or need therapeutic exercises to get stronger and get moving again.
Therapy takes place on the spacious “Reverence” unit, or patients may even choose to go outdoors on the beautiful grounds surrounding the Haven to perform their therapy, accompanied by a Sacred Heart rehab specialist. This special unit allows our healthcare professionals to focus on each patient’s individual needs.
Prior to completion of their course of therapy, short-term rehab patients are provided education about their condition and how to care for themselves at home. A home therapy program is designed as needed.
