Hospitalists
A Sacred Heart Hospitalist is a medical specialist who provides quality medical treatment to individuals while they are admitted at Sacred Heart Hospital. Hospitalists do not have a private outside practice, enabling them to be devoted to the care of hospitalized patients.
Hospitalists are specialize in all aspects of a patient's care - from admission until discharge. They manage and coordinate the whole inpatient process of care, aswell as work closely with the patient's primary care physician and/or specialists involved.
Not only do hospitalists deliver on-site and around-the-clock access to a physician, they have an in-depth understanding and commitment to a patient needs.
All Sacred Heart Hospitalists are familiar with key departments and individuals within the hospital, allowing for prompt connections with other healthcare personnel.
