The estimated charges will be based on the physician’s evaluation and necessary treatment. Your estimated charges are derived by comparing similar diagnosis and treatment.  There can be a significant difference on the final charges of your bill based on several factors, such as course of treatment, level of care and any additional materials and services.  There also may be differences in estimates due to having services rendered in a Hospital setting vs. a free standing setting.

Charges for physician, anesthesia, radiology and pathology readings are not included in the estimate and these providers will bill you separately. You may contact your health insurer or health maintenance organization for additional information concerning cost sharing responsibilities. Once you have been discharged from the hospital, you have the right to an itemized bill and can request one by calling Customer Service at 1-866-869-9677.

Sacred Heart Health System offers financial assistance for those who qualify.  For information regarding our Financial Assistance Policy and Application as well as collection procedures and discounts for uninsured patients, please contact Customer Service at 1-866-869-9677 or click on Financial Assistance.  If you are unable to pay your bill in full, our specialists can also work with you to set up a payment plan to pay your balance over time.  We also offer the Clear Balance Loan Program with no fee or interest cost to the patient.
