Interventional Radiology Workshop to be held at Sacred Heart on Oct. 28
Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola will provide an interventional radiology update for healthcare professionals on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the hospital’s Conference Center on Ninth Avenue. The workshop will focus on minimally invasive therapies and includes a continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments.
The program is presented by the Medical Educational Council of Pensacola, Pensacola Interventional Radiology and Sacred Heart Health System. Topics include new tools for vascular diagnosis, including coronary artery disease; image-guided techniques for treating neoplasm, including radiofrequency ablation; therapeutic options for the pre-menopausal woman with fibroids; identifying appropriate patients for vertebroplasty; advances in medical therapy for arteriosclerosis; options for treating abdominal aortic aneurysms; and more.
