Sacred Heart to Conduct Free Health Screenings at Senior Expo
Sacred Heart Health System’s SENIORSpirit! program will provide free health screenings, entertainment and door prizes during the 8th Annual SENIORSpirit! Expo on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Cordova Mall in Pensacola.
Persons 55 and older are invited to visit the Mall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for free health screenings to measure cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar. The screenings are limited to the first 200 people who register at the Expo; pre-registration is not required.
In addition, free osteoporosis screenings will be provided to the first 40 persons who register at the event. Health information also will be available at booths provided by Sacred Heart’s smoking cessation program, Sacred Heart Home Care, the Ann Baroco Center for Women’s Health, Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Services, and Sacred Heart Senior Services.
SENIORSpirit! is a free membership program of Sacred Heart Senior Services. Benefits to members include free health screenings and newsletters, free seminars on health issues, and discounts on many prescription drugs and other services.
