Sacred Heart Provides Health Screenings To Elderly and Uninsured Persons
Sacred Heart Health System will provide free health screenings in May at sites in Escambia County and Santa Rosa County. The screening program targets persons who are poor, uninsured, or elderly.
At most locations, Sacred Heart staff will provide screenings to measure blood pressure, blood sugar, total cholesterol and blood count. Two sites will provide only one screening: a bone density scan for osteoporosis.
The schedule is as follows: • May 2 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Bayview Seniors Center, 20th & Lloyd streets, Pensacola. Blood Screenings
• May 3 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Clinic, 140 W. Government St., Pensacola. Blood screening
• May 8 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Navarre Seniors Center, 1980 Constitution Drive, Navarre. Blood screenings
• May 9 from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at Chumuckla Elementary School, 2312 Highway 182, in Jay. Blood Screenings
• May 17 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 303 Rocky Ave., Cantonment. Osteoporosis screening only.
• May 29 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 303 S. Navy Blvd. Osteoporosis screening only.
