The Northwest Florida Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) will present The Monica Fox Symposium on "Cancer: The Forgotten Facets" on Saturday, March 1, from 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Andrews Institute at 1040 Gulf Breeze Parkway in Gulf Breeze.
This symposium is designed for healthcare professionals and allied personnel who care for cancer patients, terminally ill patients, and their families. Speakers include the following:
- Dr. Julie DeCesare, clinical associate professor, assistant program director, Florida State University College of Medicine OB/GYN Residency Program at Sacred Heart Hospital
- Dr. Christopher Bosarge, an interventional radiologist at Sacred Heart Hospital
- Dr. Brett Parra of Pensacola Urology
- Dr. Hejal Patel of Pensacola Radiation Medicine
- Linda Wall, RN of Sacred Heart Cancer Services
- Sue Eiland, RN of Sacred Heart Medical Oncology-Davis Highway
- Myrna Carnley, a cancer survivor
