The Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing Reunion Committee is looking for all alumnae to participate in the school's reunion, celebrating the training of over 780 nurses in its 51-year history.

The Grand Nursing Reunion will be held April 24-25, 2009 at the Dudley Greenhut Auditorium on Sacred Heart Hospital's main campus, 5151 N. Ninth Ave., in Pensacola.

The Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing celebrated the graduation of its first two nurses in 1916 and continued to educate future nurses until 1967, when Pensacola Junior College completely took over the nursing program. The former school of nursing was located next to old Sacred Heart Hospital on 12th Avenue, in the current Saltmarsh, Cleveland, & Gund office building. It then relocated to the Ninth Avenue campus when the hospital moved to its current location in 1965.
