Active and Retired Nurses Invited to Enrichment Program on Jan. 24

Nurses who are currently employed in their profession or who are retired are invited to attend "The Gathering," a time for spiritual enrichment and community awareness that will be held Saturday, Jan. 24, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Liberty Church - North Campus located at 9420 Music Lane off Nine Mile Road in Pensacola.

The program is free of charge and is designed to encourage and refresh nurses while building camaraderie and community awareness. Nursing students also are invited to attend.
Guest speaker will be Fred Zobel, a retired U.S. Navy chaplain and minister. His presentation is titled "Reach Out and Touch Someone . . . With Heart." In addition, Rick Hollis, RN, nurse manager of the Health and Hope Clinic, will discuss the clinic's mission to serve the impoverished, uninsured citizens of Northwest Florida. The event includes a free breakfast and door prizes.

"The Gathering" is sponsored by "One Love Nursing Ministries," a Christian interfaith ministry. To register, or for more information, please call Suzie Farthing, RN, at (850) 941-2317 or email her at suzie@onelovefornurses.org.
