Sacred Heart Hospital offers a postpartum support group called "Mommy & Me" for mothers and their babies on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Sacred Heart's Conference Center. The support group will meet next on  Jan. 6 and Jan. 20.

            The support group provides an opportunity for new moms to share experiences with other new mothers and enjoy an outing with their babies. It is open to all moms and their babies, including those who did not have their babies at Sacred Heart. Grandmothers and other female relatives also are invited.

            A lactation nurse is available at the end of each session to talk to moms who may have breastfeeding questions. The class is free and hours are flexible. Joan Kirby, RN, serves as the group leader. For more information, please call (850) 416-8099.
