Produce for Kids® and Publix are teaming up to create miracles for kids at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. From June 4 to July 1, you can support Sacred Heart Children's Hospital when you buy designated fresh produce items sold at all Publix stores. All funds directly benefit Children's Miracle Network hospitals.
Produce for Kids® promotes healthy lifestyles for children by educating kids and parents about the benefits of eating fresh fruits and vegetables while also supporting worthy children's causes, such as the Children's Miracle Network hospitals.
"There can be no more important cause than the health and happiness of kids," said John Shuman, a Vidalia onion grower and founder of Produce for Kids. "By working to support the Children's Miracle Network hospitals, we are helping to ensure that kids in need get the best medical care - and that parents balance their kids' diets by eating more fresh produce."
For more information on the Produce for Kids® program, please call Courtney O'Brien-Pate, your local Children's Miracle Network coordinator, at (850) 416-4665.
