Sacred Heart Children's will celebrate 40 years of caring for kids on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greenhut Auditorium on Sacred Heart Hospital's main campus in Pensacola.
Former and current patients, physicians, nurses, caregivers and their families are invited to this special event, featuring live entertainment, children's activities, informational booths, and appearances by well-known characters. In addition, a special cake-cake cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m.
Attendees will have the chance to meet with their caregivers and have the chance to record their special memories about Children's Hospital. For those who can't make the event, a special webpage has been set up for all those affected by Children's Hospital in the last 40 years to share their personal care stories and post then and now pictures.
