A Community Investment in Its Future
Sacred
Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast opened in 2003 with the latest medical
technology and a patient- friendly design. However, medical technology
changes rapidly, and a state-of-the-art hospital must constantly invest in
new services and new technology. We need the community support so that we
are financially able to acquire the technology and new services we need to stay
on the cutting edge of health care.In addition, our vision is for a new hospital that will grow beyond its
initial 50-bed size. As the community grows, we anticipate that the hospital
and its services will need to expand as well. Looking ahead, we have
designed our Emerald Coast campus so that the hospital can grow to 200 beds
or more in the years ahead. That kind of growth requires a major investment
in the future, one we think the community is willing to make. We need your
support now so that our progress can continue in the years ahead.
Quality Care to All
There is a third reason why we ask for community donations. It relates
directly to Sacred Heart Health System’s mission of providing care for those
in need. For 87 years, Sacred Heart and its founders, the
Daughters of Charity, have provided compassion and healing for all sick and injured
persons, regardless of their ability to pay. In a time when growing numbers
of people have no insurance, our firm commitment to quality care to all
people is made possible only with private support from individuals,
businesses and foundations. Your support ensures our mission.
Many have already stepped up with their pledges. However, we still have a
long way to go to meet our goal. We ask you to consider making a donation
now to this vital project for our community, sharing in Sacred Heart Health
System’s investment to provide continued quality care for you and your
neighbors.
