Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast opened its doors for patient care on January 27, 2003. This beautiful new hospital serves Walton County, Okaloosa County and others areas of Northwest Florida.
The 50 bed hospital is located on 34 acres of land donated by
the St. Joe Company in Walton County. It is located east of Destin
in Santa Rosa Beach, on the north side of Highway 98 by the intersection
with Mack Bayou Road.
The new community hospital provides::
- Medical and surgical beds
- A 24-hour Emergency Center
- Cancer Center providing radiation therapy
- Diagnostic services such as laboratory, radiology
and mammography
- CT and MRI scanners
- Surgical suites for inpatient and outpatient
surgery
- Respiratory and physical therapy services
- Health education services
- Heart diagnostic and therapy unit
- Medical Office Building
- Home Care
- Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine
- Dialysis
