Treatment of Minor Illnesses & Injuries
At Sacred Heart Urgent Care, our professional care team is equipped to diagnose and treat a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. Our patients are treated in our facility for their urgent care needs, and they are encouraged to follow-up with their primary care physician.
Not every patient can be treated at Urgent Care for their medical condition, because they may require specialized testing and services. If our clinical staff determines that specialty care is needed, the patient will be referred to a specialist’s office or to the Sacred Heart Hospital Emergency Room.
Common injuries and illnesses that we treat include:

- Bladder Infections
- Colds, Flu, & Fever
- Ear Infections
- Minor Cuts & Lacerations
- Minor Eye Injuries & Infections
- Minor Gastrointestinal (GI) Problems
- Sinus Infections & Sore Throats
- Skin Infections & Burns
- Sprains & Strains
Occupational Health and Workers’ Comp
As part of our Occupational Health Program, our physicians provide walk-in treatment for work-related injuries, as well DOT physicals and drug screenings. For more information on our Occupational Health program, please click here.
Onsite Diagnostic Services
Our facilities feature onsite diagnostic equipment for patients who are being treated at Urgent Care. This includes tests such as EKGs, X-Rays, and simple lab work.
Public School, Sports, College & Program Physicals
At Sacred Heart Urgent Care, we provide physicals for children entering into the Florida school system or entering a sporting program associated with the school, as well as college entrance physicals. We provide state forms in which to complete the entrance physical, but we request that you bring the sport physical forms and all immunization records with you. We cannot file your health insurance for this service as we are an Urgent Care center and do not complete the type of comprehensive physical exam that an insurance company would cover if you were to see your primary care physician. You will be expected to pay for this exam at time of service.
