Chapel & Pastoral Care
We believe that spiritual care is a vital part of the healing process, for both our patients and their family members. The hospital’s chapel is located on the second floor of the main hospital and is open 24 hours a day. Families are welcome to use this room for prayer, meditation or quiet time. Hospital chaplains offer support through listening, spiritual counseling and religious rites. Mass is held at 11:30 a.m. each weekday, at 8 p.m. on Saturdays and at 8 a.m. on Sundays.
Chaplains are called on to help patients and their families deal with spiritual issues that may arise. Chaplains are trained in assessing and working with diverse family dynamics and can provide spiritual and emotional support for our patients’ families.
For spiritual guidance, tell a member of your healthcare team that you wish to speak to a chaplain, or dial the hospital operator (from inside the hospital, dial “0”) and ask for Pastoral Care. From outside the hospital, call the Pastoral Care office at 850-416-7928.
