PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Sacred Heart Health System has launched a free mobile service called the Grow Family Health Organizer to help parents across the region manage health information and track personalized milestones conveniently from their smart phones.
To offer the Grow app, Sacred Heart has partnered with Everyday Health, the leading health media company behind the global parenting and pregnancy brand What To Expect When You’re Expecting, and Wildflower Health, a mobile health software provider. The Grow Family Health Organizer is a mobile application designed to help manage family health, with features that:
• Track key health milestones for each member of the family, personalized by age, gender and more
• See what screenings and vaccinations each family member should have
• Find local healthcare providers
• Schedule healthcare appointments
• Keep a calendar of all family appointments and medical treatments
• Organize a running list of questions to ask at upcoming doctor appointments
• Share information with other family members
“We launched this app with mothers in mind because they often manage the health of the whole family,” said Dr. Roger Poitras, Chief Strategy Officer for Sacred Heart Health System. “The Grow Family Health Organizer is a powerful tool on a mom’s smartphone, making it easy to track health milestones for every family member and connect with local health services.”
The Growth Family Health Organizer was produced by Wildflower Health, a San Francisco-based developer of mobile health engagement solutions. Everyday Health is leveraging its network of pregnant women registered through What to Expect When You’re Expecting to promote the Grow app directly to consumers in the Pensacola community.
“Young mothers use their smartphone to do everything, and the Grow app strives to make a mother’s job easier by bringing all the needed information to her fingertips,” said Leah Sparks, Co-founder and CEO of Wildflower Health. “By partnering with Sacred Heart to help mothers manage their family’s health, we can help make healthcare more consumer-centered, ultimately leading to enhanced patient experiences and higher clinical quality.”
“Everyday Health is pleased to promote the Grow application directly to Pensacola area families by reaching out to consumers through digital properties such as What To Expect -- the number-one mobile application for pregnant women in the United States,” said Sachin Agrawal, Chief Commercial Officer of Everyday Health. “We’re pleased to work with Sacred Heart to reach consumers where they already are in the consumer market.”
